Carbon Lean
Each tree harvested for biomass fuel both in Europe and managed forestry throughout the world, has to be replaced by three new trees. This makes biomass fuel sustainable and carbon lean. The growth of the new trees absorbs CO2 which more than compensates for the CO2 emitted from the combustion of the original tree.
